About Safari Story Mahjong
Safari Story Mahjong is a relaxing take on classic mahjong solitaire, set against the backdrop of a winding jungle adventure. Instead of the usual bamboo and dots, the tiles are decorated with friendly animal illustrations, and the layouts are stacked in layered shapes that you peel away layer by layer.
Each level introduces a fresh arrangement and a small beat of the story, so there's always a reason to clear just one more board. The pace is unhurried, the colours are warm, and the tile art is easy to tell apart - which makes it a great fit for a quiet coffee break or a wind-down session before bed.
How to play
Goal. Remove every tile from the board by matching identical pairs. When the board is empty, the level is complete.
Selecting tiles. Click or tap a tile to select it, then click or tap a matching tile to pair them. A tile can only be selected when at least one of its left or right sides is free and nothing is stacked on top of it.
Layered boards. Tiles are stacked in layers. You can only reach tiles on the top layer, so work from the top down to unlock the pieces buried beneath.
Tips & strategy
Clear from the top first
Always peel away the highest layer before digging sideways. Freeing the top unlocks the most tiles underneath.
Watch the corners
Corner and edge tiles are the hardest to pair because only one side is exposed. Match them early, before they're the last ones left.
Save your hints
Hint and shuffle tools are limited. Resist the urge to tap them the moment you stall - scan the board once more first.
